Op dit eiland staat de oude vuurtoren. Je kunt de rots waar de toren op staat beklimmen met een trap.
De AGA acetyleen cilinders werden omhoog gehesen met een lier waarvan de resten nog op de rots staan.

Thorlakur Kjartansson, Gudmundur Rafnsson, Eggert Eggertsson, Aðalsteinn Jóhannsson, etc. Yesterday we discovered an AGA inheritance at the lighthouse of Stykkis Holmur. As we climbed up the rocks, there were the remains of a hoist for the acetyleen cilinders and when we arrived at the lighthouse there was the original light, and original gascilinder with AGA on it, and an explanation of how it used to function. The light today is of course electric but the coloured glasses were still in use. We wondered, do they still pay rent for the cylinder?

Met een kabel trok men de acetyleen cylinder omhoog, een cylinder van 80 kg kon men niet de berg optillen.
